AUTISM LINK to Vaccines – Dr. Healy on CBS NEWS May 12 ,2008

www.cbsnews.com Every 20 minutes in the US, another child is diagnosed with Autism. Most school systems now require a child to have over 20 vaccine shots prior to starting school. Autism rates are at all time high. Is there a link?

The scientific sources I find indicate no definite connection The only people I find who are claiming a connection are lawyers. Can anybody help me find web sites that show a scientific source acknowledging a connection between mercury in vaccines and autism? Thanks.
Somebody else gave an answer on this subject and she said a connection was :”proven” in “just under 5000 cases.” But she didn’t say where this was, and I couldn’t email her. I couldn’t find any reference to what she was talking about. I guess it’s possible some lawyers won lawsuits on this, but I’m interested in scientific evidence.
